What we do
International Service Ireland works in partnership with local organisations, state institutions and government bodies in our countries of operation. We recruit professional and experienced development workers from Ireland and abroad to contribute to the developmental needs of our partners who work for long-term solutions to poverty reduction and sustainable equitable development. The development workers help strengthen their technical and organisational capacities, facilitate exchange and promote learning.
While we have a particular focus on people with disabilities, we also work with vulnerable people living with HIV/AIDS or who are at risk of HIV/AIDS.
To date, over 100 development workers have reached an estimated 300,000 people.
