Yorkshire 3 Peaks fundraising  success

Saturday 26th June 2010

25 miles, 3 peaks, 12 hours…

25 intrepid hikers and 1 incredibly energised hill-runner took on one of Yorkshire’s toughest challenges to raise funds in support of our work.

Despite knees taking a bit of a battering whilst descending the mighty Whernside, and the odd blister or two, our walkers all completed the course in under twelve hours - with just enough energy left to make it to the bar for a well-deserved pint!

The camaraderie of hundreds of other people, also undertaking the challenge for charity, was a bonus.

Over £1800 has been raised so far, and support is still coming in.

Our sincere thanks go to all of our walkers, and everyone who sponsored their efforts.
