International Citizen Service

The ICS volunteering scheme gives young people aged 18-25 the opportunity to make a positive difference to the lives of people in developing countries. 

It's also a unique way to develop life skills such as teamwork, leadership, communication and decision-making.

Following a successful pilot scheme, the Government has recently awarded a contract for 7,000 volunteer places over the next three years. International Service is delighted to be involved with this, and our first placements depart in June 2012.

    ** If you wish to be considered for placement in June or     September 2012, apply now now as we are currently holding     assesment days.
    You can also apply for placements in January and April 2012,     but assessment days will be held later in the year.**
